afloat

We went boating last Saturday on Mission Bay in San Diego. This photo pretty much sums up the day. We laid basking in the sun, eating potato chips and Twizzlers while Captain Andre scampered around the boat. As we passed these seals one of them lifted his head long enough to glance at me with a look that said, "Oh yeah, you know you want some of this." It was a great day.

well hello there,
thanks for commenting on my blog. i thought you'd like to know that tunnock's teacakes are a little bit like mallomar's, shortbread biscuit on the bottom, mallow on the top, surounded by a thin shell of chocolate... very yummy!

I love your twig piece of jewellery with the bird and the flowers, very beautiful. I work with twigs a lot in my own jewellery and sculpture, but in a completely different way.

I'm envious of your proximity to the ocean. Oh how I miss it. I feel like a part of me is missing if I don't see the Sea or Ocean every month. When I was a kid I was convinced I was a mermaid :)
